Future of Parish Elementary School
Plans move forward on the re-use of Parish Elementary School after its sale by the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown school district. The Parish planning board is working on revising the village's zoning to accomodate other than its original educational use.
A study was done to identify potential new uses for the elementary school. It can be found at:
Village Board and Joint Board
The next joint meeting of the Parish Town and Village Boards is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish, New York. Note that this represents a rescheduling from the usual second Thursday of the month. At the joint meeting, the boards will be meeting with New Visions regarding prospects for expanded high speed Internet access in the town.

The next regular meeting of the village board of the Village of Parish will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish, New York.

The Village of Parish was recently the subject of an audit by the New York State Office of the State Comptroller. The village is currently reviewing audit findings and preparing a response.

Planning Board
The next regular meeting of the Parish Town and Village Planning Board is scheduled for Monday, March 25, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish.
